The battery gauge on the top left cornet of the HUD is the player's danger meter, which reduces if the player is close to being caught by the Slender Man. The player is armed with only a flashlight and a photo camera. As a human, players work together to be the first one to collect all eight pages scattered throughout the map and avoid getting caught by the Slender Man.
